The Walk The Woodlands debuts August 2022 in honor of six local community champions

THE WOODLANDS, TX – Interfaith of The Woodlands is pleased to announce the launch of its new THE WALK THE WOODLANDS event. Scheduled for Friday, August 19, 2022, this black-tie fashion affair will honor six people who have had a positive impact on our region, both through their professional accomplishments and their personal contributions.

The Woodlands community has thrived on its committed residents and business leaders. The Walk The Woodlands was created to recognize these passionate people in a stylish, exciting and cutting-edge fashion experience. Creatively directed by famed Houston fashion show producer Lenny Matuszewski, Jr., the event includes a New York-style fashion show featuring designs from Saks Fifth Avenue; as well as a raffle and luxury auction. The six Community Champions will headline the runway finale, taking guests to a one-of-a-kind After Party headlined by the Bucktown AllStars, live from New Orleans.

Chosen by a selection committee, Brian Albert, Noemi Gonzalez, DeAnn Guidry, Justin Hogan MD, Diane Kink and Ray Sanders will serve as the inaugural Community Champions. “At the heart of our community are those who serve others, and each of our role models has shown a deep commitment to working with businesses, organizations, schools and civic groups to bring stakeholders together and build on their success. . We look forward to celebrating them in a whole new format and honoring all that each has done to uplift the South Montgomery County region,” shares Missy Herndon, President and CEO of Interfaith of The Woodlands.

The 1st annual event will be held at the Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel and Convention Center on Friday, August 19, 2022. Chaired by Erin Doré and Heather Sanford, all proceeds from the event will fund programs offered by Interfaith of The Woodlands and Interfaith Community Clinic, designed to help our Montgomery County neighbors in need.
