TECNO Mobile donates money and smartphones to local community heroes

Premium smartphone brand, TECNO Mobile recently completed its first CSR campaign in the Philippines, to give back to the community following the successful launch of several new mobile phone models in the country, including the Spark 7 series, the Pova 2 game, and more recently, the CAMON 17 series. Three partner beneficiaries representing different pillars of the community were the beneficiaries of donations made by TECNO Mobile for this CSR campaign – Ina ng Lupang Pangako Parish, Malasakit Project and City of Manila through the Mayor’s Office Isko Moreno. The second award ceremony also took place on July 13 at Tikme Dine restaurant in Quezon City, this time with Project Malasakit as the recipient. Project Malasakit is a scholarship program whose mission is to bridge the gap between Filipinos who want to help and Filipino children who need help. The final handover of donations took place on August 6 at the office of Manila City Mayor Isko Moreno. Mayor Isko is known for his service to the local community, aided by his team of volunteers who manage community helplines, respond to reports, coordinate projects such as the recent vaccine deployment and work to the local public school as teachers. For these community heroes, TECNO Mobile donated 50 smartphones and Php200,000 through the mayor’s office. The donation was handed over by executives of TECNO Mobile Limited for the Philippines, led by Lindsay Guan, CEO, and received by Manila City Mayor Isko Moreno.
