Each year, the Oxford-Lafayette County Chamber of Commerce offers seven nonprofits the opportunity to host the chamber parking lot as part of a fundraiser for the football game.

The names of the organizations were drawn at Trustmark’s recent Chamber After Hours event where a representative of the organizations had to be present to win.

Ole Miss Cheerleaders Hannah Jenkins and Gabi Rico drew the names.

The winners were: Daughters of the American Revolution, Rolling Thunder, Habitat for Humanity, Lafayette Oxford Foundation for Tomorrow, Exchange Club of Oxford, Boys & Girls Club of North MS and Oxford Kiwanis Club.

Each organization sets its own pricing. Some organizations in the past have made over $3,000.

So be sure to plan to park in the best spot in town for Ole Miss football games, while helping nonprofits raise funds.
