Distinct, the Greencastle-based marketing agency that provides web design and marketing solutions to small businesses, recently added three new members to its team to better serve its growing customer base.

“Distinct is excited to expand its team and serve more businesses across the country,” said Distinct President Vince Aguirre. “We have seen a huge increase in demand for our services because we are not only trustworthy marketing experts, but also affordable and focused on living in the communities of the customers we serve.”

Jacob Correa: A 2021 graduate of DePauw University, Correa joins the Distinct team as Chief Growth Officer. Correa is passionate about Distinct’s mission to help small businesses build a strong local business online.

He hopes to use his position at Distinct to help these companies increase revenue by improving their digital presence.

To that end, he’s responsible for not only growing Distinct’s customer base in Northwest Indiana, but also ensuring its marketing consultants are ready to deliver high-quality customer experiences, developing marketing advisory team and improving the customer experience at every touch point.

Shannon Detro: A Putnam County native who joined the Distinct team as a Marketing Advisor last year, Detro has been able to strengthen the digital presence of local businesses and currently manages over 35 clients, despite the global disruption of COVID- 19.

Detro has a career in digital marketing in many industries, from the arts, to higher education, to non-profit organizations, to his interactions with clients, ensuring they benefit from his vast expertise. She recently joined the Putnam County Hospice and Palliative Care Association Board of Directors and serves on the Community Education Committee.

Outside of the office, Detro has a passion for connecting with the community by participating, advocating and supporting local running and cycling events and groups.

Joel Bas: A Putnam County native who also joined the Distinct team as a marketing advisor, Bottom works with DePauw University as chief videographer and assists with all marketing content for the university.

To that end, he brings to the Distinct team a range of digital expertise in videography, photography and other digital media. He is delighted to offer his current clients these additional marketing services as a Distinct Marketing Advisor.

Bottom’s passion for storytelling and videography is married to a deep dedication to creating content that resonates. He is dedicated to learning new ways to tell stories through video, photography or even interactive media.
