The Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) has launched a transformative modernization project for its main transit hub. The project will enable a more sustainable fleet while providing workforce training to the surrounding community.

The $ 65 million renovation of COTA’s McKinley Avenue facility will include extensive electric vehicle charging capabilities, easing the transition to diesel-free mass transit vehicles. Meanwhile, the project will engage young people from middle school, high school, trade schools and colleges to provide hands-on training, shadowing, internships and day schools.
