One of 3 Rivers Eco Lodge's most fundamental aims is to live in harmony with, and have as little harmful impact on, those surroundings as possible. They recognize that their business has an important role to play in protecting and enhancing the environment for guests and the residents of the local community.

In keeping with this goal, every aspect of the project has the environment in mind. 3 Rivers Eco Lodge espouses a sustainable lifestyle, minimizing the consumption of all resources, using renewable energy, and monitoring all systems. They compost all kitchen and garden waste, try to avoid purchasing packaged goods, shop locally, recycle and use biodegradable products, and strive to keep all waste products to a minimum.

3 Rivers Eco Lodge aims to comply fully with, and go beyond, all environmental laws and regulations and practices annually and to communicate relevant information to all interested parties, from guests and locals up to government officials. 3 Rivers Eco Lodge hopes they can help Dominica retain its still relatively unspoilt environment, and move into a greener future.

The location is remote, and both the wind there, and their wind electric turbine, are small and limited. If the power is not always working in the forest, they will provide lamps; experience natural nights in the jungle, living with the nature and necessities, and appreciating that people can all live happily and comfortably with less power, if they want to. Water is plentiful.

Accommodations

Upon reviewing its overall quality, we've given this property a rating of 1.5 stars.

The lodge is spread over 2 main areas, covering 9.5 acres of land, offering a wide range of accommodation from priavte, fully equipped cottage, to rustic cabins and tree houses, to camping and dormitory facities.

The lower property, 3 Rivers, is close to the rivers & natural pools, and the restaurant.

3 Self contained cottages / apartments Beautiful & comfortable self-contained vacation cottage , set in its own large, private, organic garden, with fruit trees, spices flowers, and a balcony with an extremely large hammock.

You have your own washroom with solar hot shower.
